A course for non-science majors briefly describing basic global ecological principles. Emphasis on disruptive effects on the enviBIO 4970 Seminar in Integrative Biology (3) Critical analysis of current topics in biology utilizing the primary literature and integrating concepts taught in the Biology Core curriculum. Consideration given to social, ethical, philosophical and/or historical aspects of the life sciences. Format includes student presentations, reading-based class discussions, and library papers. Prerequisites: 20 credits in Biology Core and Senior status.
