Theoretical and practical study of advanced problems of grammar and analysis of fundamental aspects of style in standard Spanish; frequent oral and written reports in Spanish. Recommended for teachers and prospective teachers of Spanish. Students who register for Spanish 409 must also register for a weekly session of conversation practice in the Foreign Language Resource Center, coordinated by the Department of Foreign Language Studies.
