Description:

Prerequisites: HIST 0506 This course examines this unprecedented human destruction by dividing it into two phases: origins in Germany before 1939 and the war itself. Its sweep encompasses the killers, the victims of all faiths and status and the onlookers. Because this is a case study of genocide, students are urged to form their own conclusions as to its meaning for our own time. This course may not be offered annually.
