An introduction to the art of time based, graphic storytelling. Emphasis will be placed on the creation of engaging digital environments through the thoughtful integration, manipulation and orchestration of audio, video, still and three-dimensional imagery. An analysis of film, television, theater, as well as the graphic language of comic books, facilitates an understanding of the ways information can be made to unfold. Concept development through research, storyboarding and editing are essential for all projects, which extends basic graphic and typographic design problem solving methods and leads to a highly potent and personal language of motion.
