CE 389 - Internship in Chemistry

Provides an opportunity to apply chemical concepts and skills learned in lecture and laboratory to work-related experiences. Students and faculty sponsors will identify internship opportunities. Students will work 40 hours per credit per semester in their internship positions. Students will maintain journals of their internship experiences and write reports demonstrating how their internship experiences helped them achieve the learning objectives identified at the start of the internships. Prerequisites: Chemistry 221, 221L, 242, 242L; an overall GPA of 2.00 minimum; 15 credits completed at Monmouth University; and approval by the Department of Chemistry. Course Type(s): EX
