1 semester, 3 credits This course studies the historical, legal, and institutional aspects of labor-management relations in the United States.The work environments of unionized and nonunionized organizations are contrasted. Labor-management relations systems of the major trading partners of the United States are examined, as are ethical issues facing unions and employers. Case studies are an integral part of this course. Prerequisite: ECN 101.
