1 semester, 3 credits This course explores the continuing "crisis" in the U.S.health care system.The failure of efforts to enact comprehensive health care reform in America during the 20th century is examined to uncover lessons for future reforms efforts.The origins of private health insurance and various options for reforming the U.S. health care system also will be considered. Prerequisite: HPM 101 and junior or senior status.
