The complimentary relationship between structure and function will be explored at the microscopic level, and how these structures integrate into systems and complex organisms will be studied. Primarily vertebrate/mammalian histology will be emphasized in the course. Laboratory studies will include the preparation of tissue for light microscopy and the examination and interpretation of slides. Three hours lecture, four hours recitation/laboratory.
