This class is the capstone course in the Visual Arts. The student will have completed their concentration before taking this class. The class will be directed toward producing art on a level that is appropriate for showing in the professional setting of the Ramapo Colleg Art Galleries. This project (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, or art and technology) will be mutually developed between the instructor and the student. The project will reflect the "individual voice" that the student has been developing in their other upper level classes in their concentration. The student will be required to write an artist's statement that reflects an understanding of the position the students work occupies in the contemporary art historical context.
