This course is designed for seniors or second-semester juniors in preparation for taking an Advanced Project course in one of the Communication Arts fields: writing, video production, audio/radio production, television production, public communications, or graphic/multimedia design. The class will use a workshop format in which students will pitch ideas and discuss methods for the research and development of a project proposal. In addition, individual conferences with the instructor will be held to provide feedback and monitor progress. Group and peer critique of work-in-progress will occur at strategic stages of project development.
