3 credits This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts of computer hardware, software, and communication systems. Students work in the Windows XP operating environment with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Students also obtain a hands-on introduction to SAP R/3 enterprise systems software. Additionally, students are introduced to the use of the campus network for communications and research via the Internet and World Wide Web.
