Prerequisite: Successful completion (C- or higher) of WTNG 102. Fulfills one of the two University Core Curriculum requirements in the University Writing Program. This theme-based course focuses on the production of such scholarly texts as the annotated bibliography, the literature review, the research proposal, and the extended research essay. Students learn how to develop a research problem, critically investigate that problem, and advance a welldefined argument to address the problem.
