Prerequisite: ECON 101 and 45 credit hours earnedThis course is developed to create understanding of the internationalbusiness environment and the issues that could enhance not onlythe survival, but also the success of an enterprise in the internationalarena. The primary objectives in this course are to develop knowledgeand understanding of the issues related to the international businessenvironment and to provide students with the opportunity to refinethis knowledge by analyzing current economic, social-cultural,technological, ethical, and political issues that can influenceinternational companies. This course is designed to promote criticalthinking as a manager of an international enterprise through reading and mastering lecture material and exposure to cases, currentarticles in the business press, and participation in group projects andpresentations.
