Prerequisites: PHED 35478 This course focuses on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies involved in developing appropriate therapeutic modality programs for the injured person. This course uses current research to discuss the theory and clinical applications of all potential modalities used in the athletic training room. This course implements a problem-solving approach for the return of functional integrity to the injured person through the use of therapeutic modalities. A laboratory experience is part of this class.
