Prerequisites: SNUR 92466 The purpose of this field experience is to provide an opportunity for the student to engage in a mentoring relationship with an experienced, certified school nurse. The student will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the various roles, functions, and activities of the school nurse. A college supervisor will visit the student in the field placement situation. Meetings of all students enrolled in the Practicum are held periodically at the college. Pre-registration consultation with instructor is required one semester prior.
