Prerequisites: PSY 01100 or PSY 01104 or PSY 01107 This course provides an overview of human development across the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, social, and personality development. All the major lifespan developmental theories and research will be presented, with heavy emphasis on students' critical thinking about research. This course will cover both normative and atypical development across the lifespan, including the major physical, mental health, and social problems occurring during the life span.
