This special section is for keyboard majors and qualified vocal and instrumental majors. The course assumes that the student already possesses considerable keyboard facility. The course is designed to develop the skills needed to utilize the piano in school positions, sacred music posts, and situations other than the solo recital. The skills to be developed include transposition, improvisation, score reading, a thorough working knowledge of chords and their application to creating accompaniments and arrangements from lead sheets. Prerequisite: Music Majors only 1 credit each
