Permission of instructor. This course introduces students to creating and maintaining geographical based web sites. The course starts with basic concepts such as HTML and XML and moves to more advanced concepts such as the three-tier model, i.e., web server, application server, and database server. Students will develop custom web-based projects using ESRI's ArcIMS.
