BIOL 2110; Not open to students in MPT program. This course covers the cellular basis of neuronal function, including neuronal structure, membrane potential, how it changes as part of neuronal function and a detailed understanding of the workings of synapses. Students will develop a clear understanding of the sensory transduction across several modalities, and an understanding of how sensory information is processed in the central nervous system to create more complex representations.
