ARTV 3625 or ARTV 2270 and ARTV 2175 or ARTV 2176. Should be familiar with MAC computers. Permission of Instructor required. Special Project Form required. This internship is a project of the Visual Arts program to digitize the collection of 35mm slides used for teaching and student research in the arts. Interns will receive training on the process of scanning 35mm film, making minor modifications to produce good reproductions, and entering metadata to enable file searching. Interns should be comfortable with the use of computer applications (although specific knowledge of scanning is not required, previous experience with the use of images on the computer is beneficial) and have taken one semester of Art History.
