An in-depth study of the Spanish theater of the Golden age, with special emphasis on the works of Lope de Vega, Calder n de la Barca, Tirso de Molina, and others. Themes of a "honora" and a "honraa" will be examined as well as traditional roles of women, monarchy, and courtly love.
