This course will build upon the introductory courses: ionic substances, covalent molecular substances, metallic substances, concepts of acids and bases, main group elements, coordination chemistry and the transition elements, solution chemistry and organometallic chemistry. Includes laboratory work: synthesis and identification of inorganic compounds using various identification and characterization techniques.
