Review current educational theory on the teaching of speaking and listening, drawing connections to the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for speaking and listening. Review case studies of speaking and listening pedagogy. Formulate an integrated class exercise of their own design, referring to current scholarship and the appropriate Core Curriculum standards. Develop an integrated curricula for speaking and listening, age appropriate to their teaching interests.
