ARTP 3320. Not open to freshmen. Historical consciousness course (H). A continuation of ARTP 3320, from early nineteenth century through present. Significant plays from representative periods will be studied within relevant socio-cultural contexts. Particular emphasis upon the styles of romanticism, naturalism, realism, symbolism, expressionism, surrelism, futurism, epic theatre, theatre of the absurd and postmodernism. Faculty: M.
