ENVL 2100 and ENVL 2200 or BIOL 1200 or GEOL 2101. This seminar focuses on habitats that are between open water habitats and dry land, that is, wetlands. We will investigate the characteristics of wetlands emphasizing the regulatory issues associated with wetland protection with the ultimate goal of learning how to delineate wetlands. You will have to give at least one seminar and write a paper based on each topic seminar. There will be a final examination, a portion of which will be graded fieldwork. Several obligatory Saturday field trips will be scheduled. Faculty: M.
