Open only to tDPT Graduate Students. The study of the use and effects of drugs for the treatment and prevention of illness. Emphasis will be on the administration of drugs by physical therapists (e.g. phonophoresis, iontophoresis), the effects of drugs on physical therapy interventions, and the therapeutic and adverse effects of drugs. Prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs (over the counter), and the use of herbs and other alternative drugs will be included.
