Permission of Instructor required. Field experience with a faculty-approved health program or organization is required in the senior year. Students will work with health professionals/specialists and apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom within a work setting. One credit is awarded for every 50 clock hours for a maximum of 6 credits. Final student evaluation will be based on a completed course project as negotiated with the instructor prior to the start of the internship, a daily log of contact hours and activities, site supervisor evaluation, and other assignments as required by the instructor. At least one term prior to the term in which the student intends to register for the internship, the student should contact the instructor for guidance in selecting an internship site. Faculty: E.
