PHTH 6310. An in-depth study of normal structure and function, pathology, psychosocial factors, medical, and physical therapy evaluation and treatment procedures for the management of selected cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders. Client programs are presented with a problem-oriented/case-study format. An emphasis is placed on team approach and on indirect and preventive care. Students will be expected to apply previously learned concepts and skills to the cardiovascular-pulmonary client. Laboratory work will emphasize the practice of the physical therapy procedures.
