POLS 2160 or POLS 2170. Permission of Instructor required. In this seminar, students examine and discuss the nature of the international order, selected international issues and conflicts, and political, economic, and technological transformations of, and challenges to, the international system of sovereign states. Students will be required to address a selected issue in-depth through the completion of a research project. Theoretical and methodological issues related to the study of world politics and social change are discussed throughout. Faculty: P.
