This course is designed to further develop the student's ability to critically think as it applies to nursing care of the adult/geriatric client with acute and/or chronic illness. Principles of teaching/learning, health promotion, diag-nosis, disease prevention, economic, social and cultural beliefs are integrated in the de-velopment of evidence based practice plans of care. The nursing process is utilized in caring for the adult client in a variety of settings to ensure safe, comprehensive, and collaborative nursing care.
