A comprehensive survey of the major functions of the legal nurse consultant. Students analyze cases from both the plaintiff and defense perspective, and examine the legal nurse consultant's role in both civil and criminal litigation cases. Emphasis is placed on business principles and practices, the examination of medical records, and the development of life care plans. Prerequisites: LEI 102, 205, and 231.
