Survey of the legal structure of the family with emphasis on the laws of marriage, divorce, child custody, and support. Emphasis is placed on marriage issues such as formation of marriages, antenuptial agreements, termination of marriage, and tax consequences. The course also addresses child issues such as legal status of children, child custody, child support, and adoption. Prerequisites: LEI 101 and 102.
