This course focuses on human behavior in a social setting, emphasizing types of research that may be used to study social behavior. Topics include attitude formation and change; aggression and its opposite, helping behavior; factors that influence compatibility with other people; and group processes, conformity to a group, and leadership. Students cannot receive credit for both PSY 204 and SOC 204. Prerequisite: PSY 105 or SOC 105.
