This course offers a comprehensive examination of issues, trends, and directions in the IS field focusing on technology, management, and planning disciplines. The course provides a forum for the discussion and research of state-of-the-art technologies, as well as the impact of information systems on business, competition, and markets. Emphasis is placed on alignment of IS and business strategies; IS for competitive advantage; managing disruptive, technologydriven change; technology assimilation; corporate culture and behavior; and IS value and return on investment.
