Prerequisites: ART 02222 This studio identifies and defines the principles, techniques, and history of black and white photography. Students learn the photographic process from exposing and developing film, to making a final print and photo displays. Camera and darkroom techniques in black and white still photography are used to explore and discover the visual world. This course is designed to treat photography as a medium of personal expression as well as a fine art form. Students will learn to incorporate photography into their own studio specialization. Students will provide their own camera and supplies.
