Prerequisites: 75 credits required Journalism Practicum allows students to apply their skills and knowledge by working on-campus with department faculty on a variety of technical, creative, or research-related assignments. Students earn 1 credit for every 40 hours of work, with most practica implemented for 3 credit hours. Students keep a detailed log of working hours, prepare an extensive portfolio, write an analytical critiqe of the practicum and are evaluated by their faculty supervisor.
