This course provides prospective teachers with knowledge of books and technology in children's and adolescent literature. The major thrust is to learn about materials and methodologies to aid in developing and implementing literature-based reading programs. Particular emphasis is given to enjoyment and aesthetic experiences for students in urban and multicultural settings. Prerequisite: LTED 330 Focus: Reading, Language and Literacy
