Faculty-student collaborative research lab course designed to introduce students to the research process. Students will work in small groups under faculty supervision to conduct research on a project in molecular cell physiology determined by the directing faculty member. Students will be involved in the research process by developing hypotheses, planning and carrying out experiments using modern lab techniques, analyzing data, and evaluating resource information. Research may be extended in detail in Biology 450. Limited to sophomore Biology majors. Prerequisite: Biology 110 passed with a minimum grade of C- or higher. Course Type(s): EX, MC
