Great ideas are studied in their cultural and historical contexts and from an interdisciplinary perspective, tracing the impact of these ideas on society, politics, economics, science, and the arts. This writing- intensive course substitutes for CMP-125 Research Writing. Student is guided in writing an effective research paper. Freshmen only. Spring.
