It presents the use of modern techniques, and instrumentation in organic chemistry, including distillation, chromatography, infrared, ultraviolet, nuclear magnetic spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. Two three-hour labs per week. Prerequisites: CHE-214, CHE-216. Spring.
