3 credits Students will study the forms of creative nonfiction-the personal essay, memoir, travelogue, reflective essay, nature writing, and other types of literary essay-and write essays of their own, informed by models they have read and discussed in class. Students will receive feedback on their drafts and revise them for a portfolio that will be turned in at the end of the semester. Prerequisite: completion of composition requirements or permission of instructor.
