ARTV 1161, ARTV 1162, and ARTV 2270 or 2265. Arts course (A). Creation of animated sequences using the computer and multimedia software such as Flash, as well as relevant aspects of traditional film animation. Emphasis will be placed on students' practical comprehension of animation principles, computer software and design for interactivity and their relationship to each other, and their use in the communication of content and/or aesthetic through the frame-by-frame sequencing of movement and sound.
