ARTV 1161 and ARTV 1162. Arts course (A). This class will offer an investigation of printmaking techniques. Examples of possible topics include the following: relief printing (woodcut and linoleum cuts), intaglio (acid etching), and lithography. Students will be encouraged to integrate their Drawing I and Two-Dimensional Design experience for concepts and imagery. Required for all visual arts majors. Offered each term. Printmaking I or Printmaking II will fulfill this requirement. Faculty: A.
