MATH 1100 (Precalculus Mathmatics. One year of physics (PHYS 2110/2120 or equivalent). One year of biology is recommended. (Same as PHYS 3030.) In this course you will be exposed to the application of physics to the following topics: Sport Medicine, Substance Clearance in Physiology, Ultrasound, Medical uses of x-rays, mammography and CT, biological effects of radiation, radiation therapy, radiation protection, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging, etc. Offered alternate years.
