Formerly ARTV 3765; Not open to those with credit for ARTV 3765. Prerequisite: ARTV 1161, ARTV 1162, ARTV 2167, ARTV 2920. Arts course (A). This course will offer an investigation of printmaking techniques not taught in Printmaking I. Examples of possible topics include the following: relief printing (woodcut and linoleum cuts), intaglio (acid etching), and lithography. Students will be encouraged to use their Drawing I and Two-Dimensional Design experience for concepts and imagery. Printmaking I or Printmaking II will fulfill this requirement.
