ARTV 2176. Arts course (A). In this course we will study the history of American art with a focus on New Jersey examples, including both famous and less well-known artists. Painting, sculpture, architecture and photography will all be considered. The first few times the course is taught, students will research and write catalogue entries for an "Art & Architecture of New Jersey" website. In subsequent years the website will be used as a primary resource for the course. Faculty: K. N.
