Subterm A Course: Theory and practice of techniques used in many biological research laboratories: light microscopy with absorption, darkfield, phase contrast, polarized light, and differential interference contrast (Nomarski) optics. Growth of "established line" animal cell cultures as well as primary cultures. Subterm B will be available for short research projects registered for separately on Special Project forms.
