BIOL 1100 and BIOL 1200 with a minimum grade of C or better. BIOL 2110 and CHEM 2110, CHEM 2120. The physical and chemical functioning of plants. Plant-water relations, photosynthesis and translocation, plant mineral nutrition, and the control of plant growth and developmental processes. Laboratory includes exercises in modern techniques of plant tissue culture growth, development and molecular biology. This course meets the plant requirement for BIOL major. Offered each spring term.
