ARTP 2183 or Permission of Instructor. A study of organizational techniques and practices, with an emphasis on organizational communication, time management, and record keeping as employed by stage managers in contemporary theatrical productions. Topics include audition and rehearsal management, creation of the prompt book, maintaining relevant records of productions, and working knowledge of a variety of live performance forms, including plays, musical theater, modern dance and ballet. Participation in arranged laboratory sessions required. Faculty: M.
