ARTP 1101 or Permission of Instructor. Open only to ARTP majors and minors. Arts course (A). Course provides elementary training in modern dance technique. Emphasis is on development of flexibility, strength, coordination, endurance and the refinement of dance movement skills to the intermediate level. The clarity of movement initiation, body articulation and alignment will be stressed. May be repeated seven times for credit.
